Digital Trip win prestigious award for best technology product

Digital Trip created eVolve to offer a flexible, modular way for travel companies to build their website content and take control of their online presence by offering an unprecedented level of control, eliminating the need to outsource to web developers.

BOURNEMOUTH, UK – At Travolution awards ceremony in London, travel technology experts Digital Trip were awarded ‘best technology product’ for their flagship content management system (CMS) ‘eVolve v3’. Judged by a panel of business leaders, experts and entrepreneurs, the awards are the UK travel industry’s highest accolade for innovation and excellence online.

“We are genuinely thrilled to receive this industry recognition for our travel technology,” said Andy Speight, Digital Trip’s MD. “Using our technology, small and medium travel enterprises can level the playing field and operate online with all the sophistication of a big operator at a fraction of the cost.”

Digital Trip created eVolve to offer a flexible, modular way for travel companies to build their website content and take control of their online presence by offering an unprecedented level of control, eliminating the need to outsource to web developers.

Just as important to Digital Trip was ease of use. Where other CMS systems are confusing, require extensive training and become quickly outdated, eVolve is forward thinking; it’s easy-to-use interface means that even the most basic user only requires minimal training to accomplish the advanced tasks available – website changes can now be reduced to hours and days rather than weeks and months. Plus, where other companies provide a CMS and just walk away, leaving users with a hefty development fee (and wait) for any updates, eVolve, allows users to add more than 100 apps and widgets when they need them.

eVolve v3 is the most streamlined version yet, with over 200 new features including analytics, tracking and reporting; real-time information on searches and campaigns; search-engine-friendly site maps; metadata and keywords; page templates; web standards and accessibility compliance; and order and price management. In addition, advanced optional modules include multilingual content and multi-currency abilities; an easy-to-use image editor; enquiry controller; microsites and channels; social integration; and automatic offer generation.

“eVolve has generated huge market success for Digital Trip, driving international expansion into more than 47 countries and the opening of new international offices in Dubai and South Africa, resulting in a massively increased client base from across the globe,” concluded Speight.
