MUNICH. German tour operator Attika Reisen<.>, specialists in travel to Greece, predicts a 4 percent decrease in reservations for Greece this summer, judging by pre-bookings made in January.

An Attika Reisen representative told TDN during the C-B-R 2000<.> travel fair that pre-bookings in January fell to 52,000 compared to 50,000 for the same period last year.

This year, for the first time, Attika Reisen is offering packages combining transport via Italy with Superfast Ferries, which expects to cater to 5,000 of the company`s clients this summer. Kalamata has been added as a new destination this year, with 17 hotels to choose from.

Attika Reisen`s 341-page brochure on Greece covers 43 destinations and 374 hotels.
