Church House celebrates record business in 2007

As Church House’s financial year draws to a close, it has been announced that the Conference Centre had experienced its best financial month on record. Church House Conference Centre, located in Westminster, reported that November 2007’s turnover exceeded that of any other month in their 17 years of business.

The conference centre’s financial success, which boasted a 27% increase on their previous November, is deemed an even greater achievement as the bumper month followed the venue’s 12 month closure due to refurbishment in March.

“We are delighted with the success we have seen since we reopened in March. Our record November is testament to the efforts of our team and the marketing campaign we ran during our 12 month refurbishment works,” commented Lacy Curtis-Ward, Director and General Manager at Church House.

The £3.1 million refurbishment included a major overhaul of the Assembly Hall, the largest room at Church House, and the fitting of brand new state-of-the-art audio visual technology. Other major changes include two new rooms and a modern Conference Office and Business Centre.

“We can’t wait to see what 2008 brings, now that we are back up and running,” Curtis-Ward concluded.
