Commerce, Industry and Tourism Minister Nikos Rolandis said he planned to visit Moscow on March 10 where seminars on technology will be held.
Technology is of great importance for Cyprus and will change the industrial face of the country, he said, noting that he hoped to develop a good working relationship with Russian experts.
The minister said that Russia had expressed a keen interest in contributing to Cyprus` efforts.
Referring to tourism, Rolandis said that although there was a small drop in tourist traffic from Russia to Cyprus, the figure should go back up this year. He emphasised that Cyprus has much to offer Russian travellers and that his country`s participation in MITT would help improve tourism ties between the two nations.
