Monarch launches Winter 09/10 flights to Larnaca in Cyprus

Award winning low fare airline Monarch has added services to Larnaca in Cyprus to its scheduled winter flying programme for 2009/2010, following the success of the route since it launched in March. The flights, which are now available to book on monarch.co.uk until the end of March 2010, will operate twice a week each Wednesday and Saturday.

Commenting on the addition of flights to Larnaca from Birmingham this winter, Liz Savage, managing director of Monarch flights and holidays said, “Our services between Birmingham and Larnaca have been an overwhelming success since they launched in March this year. Over 12,500 seats have already been sold on the route this summer, which is over half of the seats we have available and we are delighted to be continuing flights this winter, therefore enabling the people of the Midlands to enjoy our low fares to this favourite year round holiday hotspot”.

Monarch operates scheduled flights to Spain, Gibraltar, Portugal and Cyprus from Birmingham, London Gatwick, London Luton and Manchester airports. In addition to year-round low fares, Monarch also offers a unique range of tasty hot and cold meals onboard.

Passengers travelling on scheduled flights can also avoid the queues at the airport and take advantage of online check-in which is available between seven days and 4.5 hours prior to departure.

In addition to flights, Monarch also now offers a huge range of great value holidays, accommodation options, car hire and travel insurance.
