Worldspan, L.P. announced that it has further enhanced Rapid Reprice, the industry`s automated ticket repricing solution, to include processing of international itineraries. Traditional and online travel agencies reporting to ARC can now experience all the benefits of Rapid Reprice, including significantly faster transactions and better customer service, when exchanging international tickets purchased and reissued in the U.S.



Rapid Reprice cuts ticket exchange times from 20 minutes or longer to less than one minute, reducing the hassle-factor and sending clients quickly on their way. Because the system stores 13 months of comprehensive historical fares and rules data and fully automates the reissue process, Worldspan agencies are assured of accurate and complete transactions. Industry-wide response to Rapid Reprice has been enthusiastic. This year alone, more than 7.5 million exchanges have been successfully made and the number continues to grow.

Aeromexico, Delta Air Lines, Northwest Airlines and United Airlines are among the carriers that have integrated Rapid Reprice technology within their internal operating systems. Carriers participating in Rapid Reprice for distributors include Alaska Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Hawaiian Airlines, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Northwest Airlines, United Airlines and US Airways.
