Russia comes on top of a list of countries sending tourists to Egypt during the first three months of this year, according to statistics of the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism.
Member of the Egyptian-Russian Business Council Nadia El Raheb said Thursday 250,000 Russian tourists visited Egypt during the first quarter of 2004 compared to 500,000 throughout 2003.
The figure qualifies Russia to lead the list of countries sending tourists to Egypt in 2004, she added.
