Seatrade Med 2010 will be held in Cannes

On 10 December, it was formally announced that Seatrade Med will be held in Cannes at Palais des Festivals et des Congres, hosted by French Riviera Cruise Club. A signing ceremony took place at the French Riviera Cruise Club stand within the Medcruise Pavilion, Seatrade Med, Venezia Terminal Passeggeri, where Chris Hayman, md, Seatrade Communications Ltd and Alain Gumiel, president of the French Riviera Cruise Club signed a memorandum of understanding.

Mr Alain Gumiel, president of the French Riviera Cruise Club is proud to federate all those with the destination and involve all resources of the French Riviera to welcome Seatrade Med 2010 in Cannes.  He said “Already 2009 will be an exciting year for cruise business; two new opening destinations with the Ports of Golfe Juan and Antibes. 2010 will be the year of Seatrade Med in COte D’Azur and I hope that it will open new doors for future Seatrade Med events in France”.

Dates are to be announced in early 2009.  Exhibitors at Seatrade Med 2008 have already expressed a strong interest in attending the 2010 event. Seatrade Med is owned by UBM and managed by Seatrade Communications.
