Feedback from the hotel industry confirms confidence in EIBTM`s exciting new location in Barcelona, and the business opportunities that it will provide:

The major reason we are tripling the size of our EIBTM stand in Barcelona is very simple. The Spanish and Portuguese markets have become so positive in the last few months, and we know it`s important to motivate these markets more than ever. I think Barcelona will attract a lot of Spanish and Portuguese business, as these countries have been the best performing so far. We trust that with its new date and location in Barcelona, EIBTM will attract more VIP accounts who are normally too busy to attend in May, so we envisage that a lot of new clients will visit the show, said Thorsten Meier, Director of Leading Group Sales of The Leading Hotels of the World.

We are really looking forward to Barcelona and are confident that this new location and interesting market will attract a lot of people, confirms Isabelle Durighello, Events Manager of Relais and Chateaux.

Concorde Hotels is very excited about exhibiting at EIBTM in Barcelona in 2004. Barcelona is definitely an obvious port of call in Europe for those in the MICE market and therefore a perfect location. Moreover, we have seen an impressive growth of our C&I business from Spain over the past 12 months, when other European sources of bookings were decreasing. We believe that Barcelona as a venue will attract the best International Hosted Buyers, who contribute so much nowadays to the success of such a show. We look forward to being there next year! claimed Emmanuel Schott, Director of Sales for Concorde Hotels.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has always seen the value in EIBTM and we look forward to being a major player when the doors open on the 2004 show in Barcelona. It`s never been more important for us to spend time with our top clients and EIBTM will afford us one of our best opportunities in 2004 at its new home in Spain, Menthused Kip Horton, Director of Sales, Europe, Africa & Middle East, of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.

As well as developing international business, exhibitors at EIBTM will be in a position to build new relationships in both the Spanish and Latin American markets in Barcelona. Whilst giving a unique insight into Europe`s most promising economy in Spain, EIBTM will also open up business opportunities in South America through its association with LACIME, Reed Travel Exhibitions` newly launched Latin America & Caribbean Incentive & Meetings Exhibition, to be held in Sao Paolo, Brazil from 23-25 June 2004.
