Travel Technology Initiative has welcomed its 150th member

The non-profit technology organisation has seen a rapid increase in its membership throughout 2005 culminating in Netizen becoming its 150th member

The non-profit technology organisation has seen a rapid increase in its membership throughout 2005 culminating in Netizen becoming its 150th member. Members of TTI include every type of travel company as well as the industry`s technology suppliers. Members who have recently joined include Spanish travel company Authentrex, German software developer InteRes and Internet based travel agency Iglu.com.



TTI Chairman, Tony Allen, said: We are delighted to welcome Netizen as our 150th member. TTI now has more members than at any time in the organisation`s 16 year history, testament to the great work we are doing in developing technology standards and promoting IT issues through our conferences and forums.



Kate Bantick, Managing Director of Web site design & development company Netizen, added, We are delighted to be joining TTI. We believe that the organisation makes a very important contribution to the development of common technology standards within the travel industry. We are looking forward to playing an active role within the organisation.



TTI has been recently announced the continuing roll out of its TORIX and TOPAS data standards which are designed to replace viewdata.
