Wizz Air adds a 2nd aircraft to its Vilnius base

Wizz Air, the low fare-low cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe announced that it would launch four new routes and increase frequencies on several existing services by adding a second Airbus A320 aircraft to its Vilnius base as of May 2012.

On top of the 8 current destinations, Wizz Air introduces four new routes to Liverpool (UK), Paris Beauvais (France), Oslo Sandefjord Torp and Bergen (Norway), and also increases frequencies on 2 existing routes from the 27th of May 2012.

"Wizz Air is very happy with the Lithuanian performance since the base opening and wants to maintain its momentum on the market. By deploying a second aircraft, we further boost the local economy, and increase the number of destinations available from Vilnius at truly affordable prices"  said Gyorgy Abran, Chief Commercial Officer of Wizz Air.
