Wizz Air has taken delivery of the first of 32 directly purchased A320s, featuring the all new A320 Family new cabin. Upon completion of deliveries of all the 32 orders and the additional 12 options, Wizz Air would be operating 53 aircraft by 2011.
Wizz Air, which already operates a young Airbus fleet of nine A320s, will be using the new aircraft to reinforce its position in its existing markets in CEE as well as expand into new geographies.
