The new schedule started on 2 February and comprise three flights a week, on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday from Amsterdam and on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from Santiago, with a stop in Buenos Aires.

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has launched three weekly flights to and from Santiago de Chile. It is KLM’s ninth destination in Central and South America which emphasizes the importance of long-haul flights for this developing region.

Santiago is the country’s cultural, political, and financial centre and it is home to numerous multinational headquarters. Furthermore, Chile offers stunning and varied nature complete with deserts, lakes and glaciers in the Torres del Paine National Park, all of which makes it an interesting destination for both business travelers and holidaymakers.

The new schedule started on 2 February and comprise three flights a week, on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday from Amsterdam and on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from Santiago, with a stop in Buenos Aires. The flights are operated by a Boeing 777-300 under flight numbers KL701 and KL702.

Air France offers daily flights to Santiago de Chile from and to Paris, by Boeing 777-300 and 777-200. By combining the power of the two hubs in Amsterdam and Paris, KLM and Air France together connect Chile to over 240 destinations to the rest of the world. This fits perfectly in the Air France KLM strategy for emerging markets in South America.
