Emirates associated companies will organise a major incentive travel industry forum to be held for the first time in Dubai.

Arabian Adventures, the destination management company and Congress Solutions Dubai, Emirates’ recently launched professional congress organiser, have been selected to co-organise ESNEP 2006 in April.

Dubai, was nominated as ESNEP 2006 (European SITE Networking and Educational Programme) host city after successfully hosting the SITE (Society of Incentive & Travel Executives) Board Summit in February, 2004.

The three-day annual event, to be held from April 19-21, is the travel incentive industry’s foremost educational and networking forum, providing industry professionals with an opportunity to expand their business networks by exploring trends and sharing solutions.

Founded in 1973, SITE is the only international professional association devoted to the pursuit of excellence in incentives, a multi-billion dollar global industry. It provides educational seminars and information services to incentive professionals.

Emirates Airline is an ESNEP 2006 sponsor and will bring delegates to Dubai from locations throughout its European network. Host venue Madinat Hotel is providing entire conference facilities with the majority of delegate rooms; with co-host venues Jumeirah Beach Hotel and the Grand Hyatt supplying additional rooms, and food and beverage support.

Arabian Adventures and Congress Solutions Dubai will work in collaboration with other destination management companies in Dubai to promote ESNEP 2006.

Sumaira Isaacs, Arabian Adventures Manager Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions (MICE), and SITE Vice President said: “This is a double win, with Arabian Adventures and Congress Solutions Dubai chosen as organisers; and Dubai’s selection as host destination.”

She added: “Our dedicated MICE division plays an instrumental role in promoting Dubai as an incentive destination, with the expertise to handle groups as large as 5,000 participants and as small as 20. We’re confident our incentive travel professionals will produce an event to meet and exceed the high standards set by SITE for more than 30 years.”

Lex Granaada, ESNEP President said: “Dubai – exotic with a cosmopolitan lifestyle – makes for an ideal incentive destination. The emirates’ unique attraction is that it brings together in a single, accessible location the highest standards of comfort and convenience, with the adventure of Arabia.”

Dubai is the only member in the Middle East and Africa region of BestCities.net, the world’s first and only convention bureau alliance. Dubai Convention Bureau (DCB) was officially opened by the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) in March 2003. DCB has set a target of attracting around 600,000 additional guest nights by 2008, to generate cumulative revenues of more than US$ 200 million for Dubai’s hotels.
