Ten major corporates have stepped forward to support the Forever Dubai campaign, the joint tourism initiative of Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, DTCM and Dubai 2003. The promotional campaign has been created by DTCM to provide a unique UAE experience for the estimated 16,000 participants of the Annual Meetings of the Board of Governors of the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund, IMF, and will run from September 10th until the 25th at more than 1,000 participating outlets throughout Dubai.
In a press conference which was attended by the representatives of the sponsoring companies, Hussain Ali Lootah, DTCM Director General said We are proud to have such prestigious names from corporate world associated with an event that aims to enhance the overall Dubai 2003 experience for everyone who is in Dubai during the Annual Meeting.
We pride ourselves on the excellent public and private sector partnership that we have developed here in Dubai. DTCM have brought the Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group, the Dubai Shopping Malls Group and the eight major private sector companies together to help us promote Dubai as a global destination of choice. The campaign demonstrates how the public and private sector can work together for common growth and development, added Lootah. Forever Dubai is a unique experience designed to leverage Dubai`s global reputation for shopping and to promote the city as The City of Gold. We want to showcase Dubai hospitality, its enviable lifestyle, and it uniqueness to the world-a world which will be looking on with great interest during the World Bank Group Annual Meetings
