Paradies Lagardere names Cassie Nelson Vice President of Food & Beverage operations

Cassie has more than 20 years of experience with The McDonald’s Corporation.

ATLANTA – Paradies Lagardere, the travel retail and restaurateur leader in North America, announced that Cassie Nelson has joined the company’s as vice president of Food and Beverage Operations. Cassie will report to Senior Vice President Bill Casey. In her role, Cassie will identify and facilitate initiatives that support Paradies Lagardere’s growth strategies, with dual focus in both the field and corporate areas of the business.

“As Paradies Lagardere continues to successfully grow its food and beverage business in airports throughout North America, we look to industry veterans such as Cassie to help with these efforts,” said Bill Casey, senior vice president, Food and Beverage, Paradies Lagardere. “Cassie has extensive expertise in the food and beverage industry, and we look forward to her contributions.”

Cassie has more than 20 years of experience with The McDonald’s Corporation. She began her career as an hourly-crew member, and has held field and corporate roles including vice president of Franchising and Operations, as well as vice president and general manager of the Heartland Region. Cassie was most recently a joint venture partner with Bloomin’ Brands and Carrabba's Italian Grill restaurants. She holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Kansas. Away from work, Cassie enjoys spending time with her family, and is an active leader in many charitable and philanthropic initiatives.

High-end restaurants, quick-serve restaurants, bars and coffee shops are all a part of Paradies Lagardere’s Food and Beverage concepts. Brands have been tailored to entice travelers with the same familiar quality, variety, taste, and atmosphere as their favorite “at home” dining spots, while maintaining the highest levels of quality and service.

Paradies Lagardere was recently recognized for excellence in Food and Beverage. The USA Today 10Best Awards recognized Long Beach Airport, where Paradies Lagardere manages the full restaurant program, as its Best Airport for Dining two years in a row. Bar Symon, at Pittsburgh International Airport, also earned a spot in the top five for the USA Today 10Best awards for Best Airport Bar and Best Airport Bar Waitstaff.
