New website, enhanced B2B online reservation system and new partnership.
DUBAI, UAE – Planet Travels & Tours, a leading travel management company in the UAE, confirms its participation this year at Arabian Travel Market (ATM), the Middle East’s largest travel and trade exhibition to share the latest news about the company including the major successes in 2013.
The company will launch its redesigned corporate website which is more user-friendly, with comprehensive features to help travellers access and navigate the site faster and easier.
Planet Travels & Tours will also announce the enhancement of the B2B online reservation system with new features such as secure payment gateway for payments by credit card. The site’s customer XML is already working smoothly and the group is planning to launch the supplier intranet in order to increase last minute availability for its customers.
The company is currently working on integrating with several international wholesale travel companies in order to offer a comprehensive global product. This interface will go live before ATM and will make a variety of attractive online booking services.
Besides Uzbekistan Airways, Planet Travel & Tours has been appointed by Equatorial Congolese Airlines (EC Air) as its general sales agent in the UAE to provide full sales and marketing services as well as customer support, ticketing and administrative facilities. A signing ceremony was held last February attended by top officials of the airlines and the government of the Congolese Republic. Commercials flights between Brazzaville and Dubai started last 31st March.
This year Planet extended their presence to Africa and the first office opened and already operational since April 2014 in Nigeria (Lagos).

The team of Planet Travel & Tours will be represented in Dubai within the Department of Tourism Commerce and Marketing pavilion and in Abu Dhabi within the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority pavilion from 5th to 8th May 2014 at the Dubai International Exhibition and Convention Center.
