Ural Airlines has launched regular services from Saint Petersburg to Batumi (Georgia). The first flight took place on May 16, 2016. This is the first introduction of services to Batumi in the recent history of St Petersburg Pulkovo Airport.
The carrier will operate 2 weekly services – on Mondays and Fridays. The time en route is 3 hours 20 minutes for the way there and 3 hours 25 minutes for the way back. The airline will utilize comfortable Airbus A320 airplanes, with a capacity of up to 160 passengers.
Batumi is the second Georgian destination in Pulkovo’s route network. Since 2015, regular flights from St Petersburg to the country’s capital Tbilisi are operated by Georgian Airways and by Ural Airlines.
