Bob Dickinson says a farewell to the cruise industry with AVC`s forum

America’s Vacation Center (AVC) announced that Bob Dickinson, President and CEO of Carnival Cruise Lines, will host the final Travel Executive Forum(TM) of 2007 on Tuesday, November 27. As one of his last speaking engagements before his retirement at the end of the year, Bob will offer exclusive sales insight to all travel professional attendees, in addition to an update on Carnival Cruise Lines and his opinion on the future of the cruising industry.

Presented by America’s Vacation Center University(TM) (AVCU), the Travel Executive Forum series is meant to serve as an online venue for industry leaders to share their expertise with travel agents across the globe.

"Bob Dickinson is a true visionary in today’s cruising industry and he has significantly helped shape what it means to be a travel professional," said Brad Anderson, Co-President of AVC. "We are honored to provide all travel specialists with the unique opportunity to listen to one of Bob’s last speaking appearances as Carnival’s President and CEO, and we wish him well with his future endeavors."

AVCU has a number of monthly seminars lined up for the Travel Executive Forum in 2008. Norwegian Cruise Line executives Colin Veitch, President and CEO, and Andy Stuart, Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Passenger Services will host the first Travel Executive Forum of the New Year on Thursday, January 17, 2008.
