Orbitz Worldwide Distribution announces partnership with iSeatz

Orbitz Worldwide announced an exclusive, multi-year partnership with New Orleans-based iSeatz to develop customized private label and in-path travel solutions that will revolutionize the travel distribution landscape.

This partnership marries Orbitz Worldwide’s industry-leading application programming interface (API) capabilities and vast inventory of its suppliers with the ground-breaking iSeatz OneView platform.  As part of the agreement Orbitz Worldwide will give customers of existing iSeatz partners including

Delta Air Lines, KLM/Air France and Amtrak, the ability to book travel products through the Orbitz Worldwide global network of suppliers. Going forward, Orbitz and iSeatz will work together to bring increased power and flexibility to travel suppliers around the world.

Key benefits of the Orbitz/iSeatz solution include:
– Fully customizable offering built to meet partner’s exact specifications
– Complete control over the user experience, presentation of supplier’s inventory and sort order
– Ability for suppliers to integrate ancillary products via an in-path cross-sell within the primary supplier booking path in a single, seamless checkout process
– Access to content and supplier’s inventory from the Orbitz Worldwide global supply network that includes hundreds of airlines, over 85,000 hotel properties, 15 major car rental companies and 5,500 attractions in more than 400 destinations.
