Vueling increases the number of passengers carried in 2012 by 20%

The company reaches a new traffic record with 14.8 million passengers carried in 2012.

BARCERLONA – Vueling Airlines carried 967,456 passengers in December 2012. This represents a 14.3% increase compared to December 2011. The company reached a load factor of 74%.

For the year 2012, Vueling Airlines carried 14,794,857 passengers. This represents a 20.1% increase compared to 2011. The company reached a load factor of 77.7%

Growth in 2013
In 2013 Vueling will continue its consolidation and growth based on international expansion. Vueling has launched this month a new route between Alicante and Moscow. This route adds to the existing routes already operated by Vueling between Spain and Russia: Barcelona-Moscow, Majorca-Moscow, Ibiza-Moscow and Barcelona-Saint Petersburg.
