Wallaby and The Points Guy launch TPG To Go

The new app from Wallaby and ThePointsGuys.com can save users hundreds of dollars a year.

PASADENA, CALIF. – Wallaby Financial Inc. announced the launch of TPG To Go 2.0 for iPhone. TPG To Go helps you maximize your travel by ensuring consumers have the knowledge to earn more rewards on every dollar they spend.

Travel-savvy consumers simply launch the app and can instantly see the right combination of credit cards that will maximize their rewards. TPG To Go provides recommendations for both online and offline shopping, all without needing to provide a credit card number.

“Wallaby’s mission is to make it easier than ever for people to save money, earn rewards, and simplify their lives,” said Wallaby founder and CEO Matthew Goldman. Brian Kelly founder and CEO of The Points Guy, shares our vision. “TPG To Go is a natural extension of what we do on the ThePointsGuy.com and I am excited to work with Wallaby on the app that will help travelers earn the most rewards from their purchase,” says Kelly.

TPG To Go users can stay on top of credit card sign-up bonuses, bills, annual fees, and all of the latest TPG news with the TPG Tracker. They can follow airline, hotel, and card loyalty programs to receive real-time alerts from the TPG blog in TPG Now, as well as read and comment on blog articles directly in the app.

Another feature of TPG To Go is Ambient Alerts. This  feature sends you a notification when you are shopping at a supermarket or eating at a restaurant, giving a friendly reminder about the best card to use, without you needing to ever open the app itself. The app also keeps track of spending with the all-new Spend Monitor, which alerts you to changes in your spending activity with a single card, in a single category, and across the board. If there is any suspicious activity, the app notifies you immediately.
