WestJet launches issuer program to address corporate clients needs

WestJet is powered by an award-winning culture of care and recognized as one of the country's top employers, offering scheduled service to more than 85 destinations in North America, Central America, the Caribbean and Europe.

TORONTO – UATP announced that WestJet Airlines is the newest UATP Issuer, now issuing accounts in Canada and accepting all UATP accounts as a form of payment.

“WestJet is a leader in the airline industry and will be a valuable asset for UATP,” said Ralph Kaiser, president and CEO, UATP. “As an Issuer, WestJet is on the path for long-term success and we look forward to supporting them in growing their UATP program.”

Through their regional airline, WestJet Encore, and with partnerships with airlines representing every major region of the world, WestJet offers guests more than 120 destinations in more than 20 countries.

Kaiser continued, “There is significant corporate demand within Canada, and by becoming a UATP Issuer, WestJet has positioned itself to capture that demand to grow market share; we look forward to helping grow a very successful UATP program within WestJet.”
