Nicosia, with a total of 47 points, ranked third among the best European cities for those looking for a more digital nomad lifestyle
A new study by travel specialist Panache Cruises, which points out that digital nomads choose their destination by taking into consideration a series of factors such as weather conditions, internet speed, rent cost and facilities for professionals.
Nicosia, with a total of 47 points, ranked third among the best European cities for those looking for a more digital nomad lifestyle, according to a press release by the Nicosia Municipality.
The research also takes into account the happiness index of the residents, which is 6.22.
It is noted that Nicosia, is followed by Budapest, Zagreb, Athens, Lisbon, Tallinn, Valletta and Reykjavik.
Mayor of Nicosia Constantinos Yiorkadjis said that all development projects in Nicosia include the concept of “smart” planning throughout, which greatly facilitates digital nomadic work.
He added that there is a high rate of completion of the smart city infrastructure, while all smart systems will be fully operational by the end of the year.
