As part of the partnership, the show’s contestants flew out to Corfu, to film the series, with award-winning airline Jet2.com.
Jet2holidays is announcing that it is the official partner of an exciting new show called MAMMA MIA! I Have a Dream, due to launch on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player in October.
The brand-new entertainment show will see hopefuls travel to the Greek island of Corfu to compete to become the next musical theatre stars of the musical production, MAMMA MIA!. The eight-part series is expected to attract family viewing, making it perfectly aligned to the tour operator.
As the UK’s number one tour operator to Greece, the partnership is a fantastic way for the package holiday specialist to showcase the huge number of Greek destinations it operates to, as well as the many award-winning benefits of booking and travelling on a package holiday to Greece with Jet2holidays. To reach this key audience, Jet2holidays will launch a fun, heavyweight campaign which will include bespoke TV adverts, product placement and exclusive competitions.
These exclusive competitions include a weekly competition giving away a 7-night holiday to Greece, so customers can have their very own MAMMA MIA! experience. Every week while the show is on air, Jet2holidays will have a holiday to a Greek destination up for grabs, meaning there are eight holidays in total to win to Skiathos, Kos, Rhodes, Halkidiki, Corfu, Crete (Chania), Crete (Heraklion) and the Peloponnese.
A number of other competitions will also run throughout the series. This includes ten chances for viewers to win a once-in-a-lifetime prize – a pair of money-can’t-buy tickets to the MAMMA MIA! I Have a Dream live final in the West End in London where the winners of the show will be announced.
The UK’s leading tour operator to Greece will operate flights from eleven UK bases to 14 gateways in Greece (Athens, Corfu, Chania, Heraklion, Kefalonia, Thessaloniki, Kos, Kalamata, Lesbos, Preveza, Rhodes, Skiathos, Santorini and Zante) next summer. In total, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will operate to over 200 resorts across 19 Greek destinations in Summer 24. With over 300 weekly services operating to these destinations during peak periods and over 100 routes, this represents Jet2.com and Jet2holidays’ biggest ever summer programme to Greece and gives customers fantastic flexibility when it comes to reaching the Greek sunshine.
This unrivalled Summer 24 programme includes seven new routes – Birmingham to Lesvos, Liverpool John Lennon to Corfu, Liverpool John Lennon to Crete (Heraklion), Liverpool John Lennon to Kos, Liverpool John Lennon to Rhodes, Liverpool John Lennon to Zante and Newcastle International to Crete (Chania).
