The Spanish subsidiary of the AVIAREPS Group, AVIATOURISM Espana S. L., and the Portuguese General Sales Agent (GSA), Fly Team, have agreed on a strategic alliance. The companies will work together on these markets with immediate effect, offering representative management of airline and tourism customers. This will allow representation on the Portuguese tourism market for customers of the AVIAREPS Group. The corresponding sales and marketing campaigns are managed through the Fly Team office in Lisbon.
The agreement regarding strategic cooperation preceded the inclusion of Fly Team in the international network of the AVIAREPS Group. Direct investment participation by AVIAREPS in Fly Team is planned for the first quarter of 2010. This will allow the Portuguese GSA to be gradually integrated into the group structure of the AVIAREPS Group.
The central focus of the cooperation is to increase the market shares of both companies, strengthen the market leadership within these countries and secure this position for the long term. In future, each company will profit from the expertise of its respective cooperation partner, with AVIATOURISM Espana S. L. representing the interests of Fly Team customers for the Spanish market immediately. In return, Fly Team will also take care of the customers of AVIATOURISM Espana S. L. on the Portuguese market.
