2005 Iberia will launch a new direct route between Madrid and Moscow, operating one daily return flight between the two capital cities.
The flight will depart from Madrid`s Barajas Airport at 10:40 h. and land at Domodedovo Airport in Moscow at 17:35 h. local time. The airport is Moscow`s newest, and features a railway link to take passengers to the city centre in 40 minutes.
The return flight will leave Moscow at 18:40 and arrive in Madrid at 21:50 local time. Estimated flying time from Madrid to Moscow is 4 hours and 55 minutes, and the return flight is expected to take some 5 hours and 10 minutes.
Iberia will use 126-seat Airbus A-319s on the new route. The aircraft features the latest technological advances, as well as great fuel economy, quiet operation, and excellent service to passengers.
