ACTE names new officers at Stockholm Conference

The Association of Corporate Travel Executives has named Nadine Dewart, EMEA travel manager, BMC Software, as its new president-elect, and Bradley Seitz, President and CEO, TOPAZ International, Ltd. as the treasurer for 2005. The announcement was made during ACTE`s Global Conference in Stockholm.



Nadine Dewart has been advancing the business travel management industry through leadership roles since joining ACTE in 1988. As a member of the association`s Board of Directors (April 1999 to 2000), she was instrumental in incorporating education and communications as core themes of the association`s agenda, and taking a more global approach to the study of travel management. Dewart put theory into practice as a co-chair of two ACTE Forums in Brussels, and as the co-chair of the Munich Global Conference in 2002. She is presently serving her second term as EMEA Regional Chair. Dewart received the ACTE President`s Award in 2003 for her contribution to the industry.



Dewart joined BMC Software (Amsterdam) in 2001 and manages the travel program throughout the EMEA. Her responsibilities include policies and procedures, supplier negotiations and the credit card program. Prior to joining BMC Software, Dewart was a Purchase Specialist with the European Headquarters of Toyota (Brussels). She received a Bachelor Degree in Commercial & Financial Sciences from the I.C.H.E.C Business School of Brussels.



Bradley Seitz has seven years of travel administration experience as a Corporate Travel Manager and Travel Agency Executive. He has provided travel management guidance to companies such as Xerox, United Technologies Corporation and Intel. In addition to his travel industry experience, he has twenty years of business management experience in a wide range of fields, including banking, manufacturing and personal financial planning. He has an undergraduate degree in Finance from Suffolk University, an MBA in International Business from Babson College, and an Executive Management Program Certificate from the University of Minnesota.



The Association of Corporate Travel Executives was chartered in 1988 as the educational resource and forum for the international business travel management industry. With 2,500 members in 37 countries, ACTE is renowned for its statistics, studies and stances on key business travel issues. Fifty-six percent of ACTE members hold the title of Director, or higher.
