SETE to co-host WTTC conference

The Association of Greek Tourist Enterprises (SETE<.>) is hosting an international seminar entitled Tourism: Creating jobs together with the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC<.>), to be held in Athens on December 14.

WTTC was established in 1990 and is one of the most important bodies representing the private sector on an international level. Its main aim is close cooperation with government in upgrading tourism around the world and job creation.

The objective of the seminar is to analyse the tourism industry`s role in job creation. Based on recent WTTC statistics, more than 1.85 million jobs will be created in the EU by the tourism sector this decade, while the international figure is likely to reach 100 million.
