Latin America specialist shortlisted for two Travel Agents Choice Awards.
Air Europa, the Latin America specialist, has been nominated by UK and Irish travel agents in not just one category, but two in the Travel Agents Choice Awards 2012.
With the winners announced on 17 October, Air Europa’s London team are keeping their fingers crossed for a double victory in both the Airline of the Year to South America category and Airline of the Year to the Caribbean. The nomination puts Air Europa up against the likes of British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, LAN Airlines and Caribbean Airlines.
“We’re thrilled to be shortlisted for two airline of the year awards. Since our UK launch nearly four years ago, we’ve worked very closely with the trade and they have been instrumental in driving awareness of our affordable routes,” says Colin Stewart, UK General Manager, Air Europa.
“To be nominated by travel agents for our South America and Caribbean routes means a lot to the team as it shows that our commitment to the trade has been recognised and that the appreciation is mutual.”
With daily flights to Lima for 2012, a new twice-weekly service to Bolivia from November and routes to a host of exciting destinations including Buenos Aires, Caracas, Havana, Salvador da Bahia and Santo Domingo, Air Europa is fast becoming the airline of choice for journeys to Latin America and the Spanish Caribbean.
The Travel Agents Choice Awards allow travel agents to recognise the achievements of the best travel providers and vote for their favourite travel products.
