Fourteen Bahrain-based Gulf Air travel agents were recognised for their sales performance for the year 2004 in an award ceremony held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel.
The ceremony, held annually by Gulf Air, recognises the business performances of its Bahrain based travel agents every year. The awards are given out in four categories with the top performer receiving the Gold award and the second best travel agent, the Silver while the next four agents receiving the Bronze awards. The rest receive certificates of recognition for their sales performance.
This year, Kanoo Travels was the proud winner of the Gold award for its top performance for 2004, while World Travel Service received the Silver Award. Kanoo Travels won the Gold Award last year as well for its sales productivity. Dadabhai Travel, Al Gosaibi Travel, Al Safeer Travel and Cleopatra Travel were the winners of the Bronze Awards.
“Gulf Air works closely with its travels agents and recognizes the important role they play in our business. Therefore, we feel it is equally important to recognize their performances,” says Gulf Air General Manager- Bahrain Shaikh Bader bin Salman Al Khalifa.
“The awards are given out on the basis of their sales productivity over a period of one year.”
