At the awards ceremony that took place at the Sofitel City Center Hotel in Dubai, Vice President Worldwide Sales of the French-owned network, Christophe Jeannest, emphasized Accor`s mission to become a major player in the Gulf and the Middle East.
Accor hotel`s brands recorded an increase in market share from all GCC markets in the past year particularly, to the major destination; Paris, London, Geneva, Australia and Thailand. GCC based travel agents are our business associates in this region and we are forecasting a growth over the coming years for our different hotel brands, Sofitel, Novotel and Mercure which are available in 90 countries around the world. Jeannest said.
