Carlson Hotels Worldwide announced that the company added nine new properties to its global portfolio of brands in October and November. Three new Radisson Hotels & Resorts properties opened in the United States, Europe and South America; one new Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts property in Texas joined the system; and five Country Inns & Suites By Carlson hotels were added in the Midwest and Southeastern regions of the U.S. These additions bring the upscale Radisson brand property total to 435 in 62 countries; the full-service, mid-scale Park Plaza portfolio to 34 locations worldwide; and the mid-tier Country Inns & Suites brand to 339 hotels and more than 26,850 rooms worldwide.

Radisson Hotels & Resorts
The Radisson Hotel and Conference Center Longmont-Boulder in Colorado is centrally located near Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins and a short drive to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. The hotel offers 210 spacious, newly renovated guest rooms and suites with living areas and spacious work desks with ergonomic chairs. An onsite full-service restaurant features American cuisine, and the hotel operates Northern Colorado`s premier conference facility with over 28,000 square feet of conference space. The meeting rooms are equipped with high-speed Internet access.
The Radisson SAS Rome in Italy is located in the heart of the city on the Esquiline Hill, one of the seven Roman hills. The hotel is adjacent to the Termini Central Railway Station and within easy access of the express trains connecting to Fiumicino Airport. The 235 deluxe guestrooms, including 27 suites and 14 rooms for disabled guests, are furnished in three locally designed styles, each with its own identity. All rooms are equipped with flat screen televisions, DVD and CD players, satellite channels and high-speed Internet access.

Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts opened its newest North American hotel in Austin, Texas. The 189-room Park Plaza Austin hotel is located just five minutes from the downtown area, and within close proximity to many of Austin`s attractions, including the Sixth Street Entertainment District, Bob Bullock State History Museum, Lyndon B. Johnson Presidential Library, the State Capitol and Lake Travis.
