REPORT – ATM 2006 – DUBAI: Grosvenor House has been named New Hotel of the Year at the DEPA Middle East Hotel Awards, held during Arabian Travel Market. The Dubai hotel also took home the Excellence in Interior Design Award at the same ceremony.
The hotel, which opened in June 2005 and recently announced the construction of an extension, Grosvenor House The Residence, has just been voted “one of the coolest hotels in the world” by Conde Nast Traveller magazine. It is the only UAE hotel to appear on the list.
General manager Pam Wilby said: “From the day of opening 11 months ago, we set out to create a lifestyle hub for discerning tourists and Dubai residents. From the stylish public areas through to the Retreat health & spa, concept restaurants and Buddha Bar, we look forward to giving the public what it wants for another 12 months!”
