InterContinental Hotels Group announced that the new 130-room Holiday Inn Express-Salt Lake City, recently opened, representing another addition to the mid-scale brand`s portfolio of limited-service hotels.
The Holiday Inn Express-Salt Lake City is owned and managed by St. George Inn LLC, under a license agreement with a company in the InterContinental Hotels Group.
“Holiday Inn Express hotels are designed to be the smart choice for value-conscious business and leisure travelers,” said Jenifer Zeigler, senior vice president, Brand Management, Holiday Inn Express. “Development of Holiday Inn Express hotels in the Salt Lake City area is important in expanding our consumer base and establishing a strong presence in prime tourist locations.”
Situated in Salt Lake City, the new 66,000 sq.-ft. hotel boasts all-new elegant décor throughout the lobby and guestrooms. The property is just minutes from the Olympic Oval and Hogle Zoo. The Fastkart Indoor Speedway and the Clark Planetarium are also a short drive from the hotel. Major ski resorts, such as Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, Solitude and the Park City area are all within a 40-minute drive.
The Holiday Inn Express-South Salt Lake offers a variety of amenities such as high speed Internet access, a 24-hour front desk, express check-out, same day laundry and valet, fitness center, business center, pool, complimentary shuttle service and complimentary parking.
