Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants launches new interactive sales app and online groups meetings booking tool

Launched in February, the new Kimpton sales app is a highly visual interactive tool which showcases the over 60 Kimpton Hotels.

People wishing to book group meetings and events at hotels will now find it much easier to make decisions and bookings with Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. Thanks to a new online booking tool and sales app, Kimpton is creating more unique and customised events for its guests. The new, user-friendly tools make group meetings’ easier for guests by allowing them to enjoy a more visual experience when selecting a location and allowing guests to reserve meeting space quicker, whether it be day or night.

“Unique to the Kimpton experience is our personal and collaborative approach and our new tools make planning and booking a group a hassle free and unique experience,” said Christine Lawson, senior vice president, sales and catering for Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants.

Launched in February, the new Kimpton sales app is a highly visual interactive tool which showcases the over 60 Kimpton Hotels. The app makes it easy to find the perfect Kimpton hotel for corporate, social and group events by showing photos, floorplans, menus and venue-specific information during a real-time discussion. Kimpton sales workers are then able to send out a follow-up email directly from the app to the potential client including hotel brochures and comparison grids of Kimpton hotels in various cities.

Kimpton has also launched a Kimpton Instant Meetings, K.I.M, an easy-to-use online booking tool that enables anyone to book a group or meeting quickly and easily in as little as five days from their event. This app also allows users to personally select their group and meeting needs, from dates and locations to catering and audio/visual needs.

Keeping in line with Kimpton’s commitment to delicious gastronomy at all events, Kimpton is also launching unexpected “extras” for group meetings with hotel rooms. This means that event attendees can receive a surprise culinary gift courtesy of the chef, such as a spice rub, flavoured cooking salt or house-baked treat. Kimpton’s world class chefs are renowned for creating fun and exciting menus for meetings which can be tailored to meet everyone’s needs, such as offering gluten-free options or healthy mid-morning snacks such as smoothie bars.

Each Kimpton hotel brings its own locally-inspired flair to an event and offers lively and inviting event spaces. Depending on the hotel, guests can enjoy a multitude of experiences from fresh blended mojitos and guacamole created by a “guacamologist,” to yoga classes with a certified instructor. Additionally, groups also receive extra perks as part of the Kimpton experience, such as nightly complimentary wine hour, the use of complimentary in-room Gaiam yoga mats, complimentary PUBLIC Bike rental and morning coffee and tea service.
