Peakwork welcomes three new hotel providers in the network

The new connectivity also enables distribution on global OTA and metasearch sites.

With more than 60,000 hotel contracts around the globe, Olympia Europe is the latest hotel provider to join the fast growing Peakwork Leisure Travel Network. International tour operators working with Peakwork technology can now benefit from this extensive hotel content for dynamic packaging. The new connectivity also enables distribution on global OTA and metasearch sites.

Olympia Europe is a fast growing FIT wholesaler based in London with offices in Orlando, Paris and Italy, where over 60,000 hotels are directly contracted and sold. More than 10,000 hotel cooperations are based on static FIT contracts, mainly in US cities, European and Middle East countries. Direct contracts include many well-known hotel chains: Accor, Caesars Hotels and Resorts, IHG, Marriott/Starwood, Hilton, Best Western, Choice, Wyndham, Radisson, GLH (UK), Louvre Hotels, Catalonia Hotels, Austria Trend Hotels, Sandals Hotels and resorts, Park Plaza hotels and resorts, Red Lion Hotels and many others. Over 20 channel managers are connected to Olympia Europe and the portfolio ranges from budget to 5-star luxury accommodation.

The static hotel content is now available in the Peakwork network: Globally selling tour operators’ dynamic packaging is based on Peakwork partners’ hotel portfolios. Additionally, this portfolio can be connected and enrich hotel-only offers on OTA and metasearch platforms. Peakwork technology is used in 35 markets around the globe and offers a comprehensive distribution platform for global service providers.

Worldwide Hotel Link (WHL) partners with Peakwork Leisure Travel Network
Peakwork’s Leisure Travel network is increasing further with one of the biggest hotel suppliers, Worldwide Hotel Link (WHL). This new partnership will connect 6,500 hotels from over 40 countries directly into the Peakwork Leisure Travel Network.

Worldwide Hotel Link is a wholesale company and part of Italy’s Albatravel Group, a leading travel provider in the booking market. With offices located around the globe, including Milan, Rome, Venice, Genoa, Paris, Madrid, London, Lugano and Beijing, WHL’s product portfolio consists of hotel inventory from 2 to 5 stars and specializes in the supply of Italian properties where the company holds direct contracts with hand-picked independent hotels and smaller chains. Connectivty has been implemented by Italian travel technology provider NetStorming. The first
integration to a partner will be with the Dutch virtual tour operator, TravelAssist, supported by technical implementation partner Netmatch. WHL’s hotels will be dynamically packaged and sold by Dutch OTAs and traditional travel agents.

With its innovative Player Hub Technology, Peakwork connects worldwide tourism supply and distribution. In recent years, Peakwork has primarily focused on the international rollout and connectivity of globally operating companies in the tourism sector but also focuses on local supply and distribution partners.

Abbey Ireland & UK hotel content will soon be available on Peakwork’s Leisure Travel Network
Peakwork is boosting its Leisure Travel Network and continuously integrating new partners. The latest partner to join is specialist travel company, Abbey Ireland & UK, who will provide its hotel content in Peakwork’s EDF data format and enable new distribution opportunities.

These new hotel offers will be available on the network at the beginning of 2019. Abbey Ireland & UK is a unique player with a distinctive property portfolio that primarily consists of small boutique hotels, independents and niche B&Bs in and beyond the main cities. This year also saw the addition of an exclusive live connection to B&B Ireland which has enhanced the Abbey portfolio with over 500 unique B&B properties across Ireland.

The EDF import of hotel content into the Peakwork Leisure Travel Network enables Abbey Ireland & UK to distribute it’s unique portfolio, along with all B&B Ireland product, to various partners. Peakwork partners are also able to directly source the content into their own product portfolio.

Based in Dublin, London and Edinburgh, Abbey Ireland & UK is a member of the Abbey Group, a collection of travel companies based in the UK and Ireland. Established in 1978, Abbey’s core business is to sell the destinations of Ireland and the UK to the worldwide travel trade on a B2B basis. Abbey Ireland & UK is a specialist provider with a comprehensive range of accommodation, excursion and package product, and offers, in addition to on-the-ground expertise and operational support, access to over 1,000 properties in the UK and Ireland to all Peakwork partners. The accomodation on offer is primarily independent hotels, small boutique hotels and authentic B&Bs.
