Starwood Hotels’ sizzling Aloft brand poised to debut in College Station, Texas

Catering to the next generation of travelers, Aloft College Station will open in 2015 in a prime location near Texas A&M University, Entertainment and Shopping.

STAMFORD, CONN. – Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. announced that its fast-growing Aloft brand will make its debut in College Station, Texas in October 2015. Designed for the next generation of travelers, Aloft College Station will be ideally located just minutes from the Texas A&M University campus. Owned by Lodging America, the new-build hotel will feature 102 spacious, loft-like rooms, 1,500 square feet of flexible meeting space, accessible technology and a buzzing, social atmosphere.

Aloft College Station will be located at the corner of University Drive West and Lincoln Avenue, close to both Texas A&M and Blinn College, as well as the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum, Post Oak Mall, Grand Station Entertainment Center and the restaurants, bars and music venues in the popular Northgate district. The new Aloft will also be convenient to the Business Center at College Station, home to numerous technology and telecommunications companies.
