A1Travel adds new Greek Island destinations to meet early booking demand for summer holidays

Independent travel agency A1Travel has revealed that their early bookings for all-inclusive and adult-only summer holidays to Greece are up 43% year on year, demonstrating how popular the sunshine destination is for British travellers.

UNITED KINGDOM – The statistics reported by the travel agency also indicate that customers are looking to take advantage of low deposit deals and the opportunity to pay the balance of their holiday in flexible instalments, making it easier to budget throughout the year.

A1Travel has responded to the demand from customers by adding two new Greek island destinations to their roster. Mykonos and Santorini now join other Greek islands such as Crete, Kefalonia and Skiathos, giving travellers more choice when it comes to selecting their perfect summer holiday destination.

The travel agency’s website A1travel.com is currently offering special deals to appeal to those who are strapped for cash after the Christmas period but want to secure their holiday so they don’t miss out. The January sale offers up to 61 percent off selected hotels and holidays, whilst their £35 low deposit scheme has been extended until 31st January 2014.

These key offers are expected to be popular with those looking to book trips to Greece and to other sunshine destinations. The timing is also important as the discounts and offers are coinciding with a period of wet weather in the UK, which can lead to a peak in bookings as people look forward to some guaranteed summer sunshine.

Leon Shanahan, from A1Travel said: “We have seen a growing demand for summer holidays to Greece, which is why we have provided an even greater selection of destinations to our customers. Aquis Silva Beach in Crete and Aquis Agios Gordios in Corfu are proving to be hot choices this year, so we have been reminding customers to secure their holiday with our low deposit scheme so they do not miss out on the top spots.”

Leon Shanahan continued: “We have extended our £35 low deposit offer until the end of January and we are also running a big sale this month; therefore we expect to see even more bookings to Greece and other popular places where people can expect to see a bit more sunshine than we often get in the summer in the UK.”

All current offers can be accessed by visiting the A1Travel website at a1travel.com.
