Abercrombie & Kent to nurture relationship with key trade partners

A team of carefully chosen travel consultants for each key region has been appointed as key consultants for Abercrombie & Kent’s trade partners.

Following the recent appointment of Rachel Healey as UK Sales Manager, Abercrombie & Kent is delighted to announce a series of initiatives designed to engage its travel agent partners with its new dedicated trade sales team.

Rachel will be the new point of contact for the trade, arranging visits and training sessions as well as working with agents to promote Abercrombie & Kent products. Her brief is to forge mutually beneficial long-term partnerships by fostering and understanding of A&K and its products and adding value to all trade relationships.

A team of carefully chosen travel consultants for each key region has been appointed as key consultants for Abercrombie & Kent’s trade partners. Specialists with an unrivalled knowledge of their area, each has travelled extensively. These consultants will visit agents regularly, building relationships and delivering training sessions to improve product knowledge and brand awareness.

Abercrombie & Kent has introduced agent-personalised ‘print on demand’ brochures, enabling each of its trade partners to build bespoke brochures for its clients incorporating up to six different destinations, which will be printed with the agent’s business details and contact numbers, which can be sent direct to the client.

A&K’s commitment to encouraging sales is demonstrated by an array of attractive rewards. Each month a different destination and product will be promoted; the agent making the most bookings to that destination that month wins a case of top quality wine. For the most successful agent in terms of making the most bookings during 2014, a holiday of a lifetime is the prize – a top notch A&K trip for two to Africa in 2015.

A programme of illuminating agent familiarisation trips throughout 2014 will showcase A&K’s expertise and attention-to-detail, the first being to India in June. Places can be secured by entering a draw for every booking an agent makes with A&K, whilst bookings to India between December 2013 and April 2014 will earn 2 entries into the draw for this travel adventure.
