ASATA Congress awards Thompsons Tours

Walking away with this year`s prestigious title best tour operator in Africa at the ASATA Congress in Bangkok was Thompsons Tours<.>.



Thompsons received the accolade for outstanding service to the worldwide travel industry during 2000 in the Diners Club/ASATA awards. The award was given in appreciation of the company`s efforts in maintaining excellent service to the travel industry. This is indeed a great honor, particularly as we were chosen by the people who use us in the industry, said Thompsons MD Johan Strydom. The award is a motivation for us to reach even greater heights in product and service quality. This is the second time Thompsons has won this prestigious title in the Diners Club/ASATA Awards. three-year history.



Thompsons also won Best African Tour Operator in 1999. Thompsons was one of an exclusive and prestigious group of companies chosen by ASATA, the Association of South African Travel Agents, in association with Diners Club International.
