Organized by IFITT, the ENTER conference offers a worldwide and unique forum for attendees to actively exchange, share, and challenge state-of-the-art research and industrial case studies on the application of information and communication technologies to travel and tourism.
ENTER will be celebrating its 20 years of contribution to the eTourism industry and community this week in Innsbruck. Organized by the International Federation for Information Technology and Travel & Tourism (IFITT) the ENTER conference offers a worldwide and unique forum for attendees from academia, industry, government, and other organizations to actively exchange, share, and challenge state-of-the-art research and industrial case studies on the application of information and communication technologies to travel and tourism.
The conference started on January 22nd with a successfull PhD Workshop also available in livestreaming. With a wide variety of topics to be addressed and top notch keynote speakers from the academia, the tourism industry, government and other organizations, ENTER will provide delegates in depth knowledge for the Tourism Industry. Supporting its international scope reputation, ENTER will be expecting speakers and delegates from 30 countries all around the globe.
Practicing what it preaches, ENTER has a very strong social media presence. In an effort to make delegates engage with the conference, ENTER this year organizes a photo competition entitled “Connecting the global eTourism community”. The participants are requested to upload their photo or video that captures best how ENTER is THE global event to connect our community to ENTER’s Facebook page and write the motto “ENTER – Connecting the global eTourism community” in the photo/video description. A prize will be awarded to the competition’s winner.
ENTER 2013 takes place in the Congress Convention Centre in Innsbruck, Austria and will close its doors on 25th January.
