International Congress and Trade Show for Fitness, Wellness and Aquatic Clubs – will take place in Verona

International Congress and Trade Show for Fitness, Wellness and Aquatic Clubs – will take place in Verona, at the Centro Congressi-Palaexpo, on February 24th, 25th and 26th. The event, organized by the specialized magazine Il Nuovo Club, is an appointment for professional operators of fitness clubs, wellness centers, swimming pools, sports centers and recreational structures.

It is the only Italian event dedicated to the fitness and health sector, a professional window on the Italian market, one of the most important in Europe, made of 8.000 fitness/wellness clubs (an overall number of 15.000 structures adding swimming pools and sports clubs) and many companies of which some are among the biggest in the world. With an international edge, it offers an articulated congressional program with both Italian and foreign speakers, including James Annesi, Casey Conrad, Theo Hendriks and a contribution by IHRSA and other associations in the sector.

The wide exhibition area will be accessible, free of charge, to all accredited operators: last year the 70 booths, dislocated on 7,000 square meters, were visited by 2,400 operators, of which 800 were registered in the congress program. The majority of this public consisted of owners and managers of fitness clubs (51%), wellness clubs, sporting facilities and swimming pools, directors of medical, rehabilitation and naturopathy centers, instructors, hotel and thermal centers. This year the trade show will be even bigger, offering the chance to meet and discover the Italian market.

Water, as usual, will be one of the protagonists of the event, intended as a tool in wellness and business. Aquatic Management, a congress in the congress that will take place during the three days, will give adequate space to this phenomenon, offering a complete picture of the strategic elements that are crucial to the pool and its surroundings.

The leitmotifs for the 2006 edition of the event will be health – institutional representatives will give some guidelines to follow giving new life to the sector, changing perception and increasing visibility – and the professional and cultural growth of the sector with future career possibilities. The free access to the congress sessions and seminars is reserved to foreign operators only.
