Hertz<.> has been confirmed as a new member of the German Convention Bureau (GCB), which represents the interests of the meetings, conferences, congresses and incentives industry in Germany.



The GCB, which has been operating as a non-commercial organisation since 1973, serves more than 200 members within the hotel industry, as well as convention centres and cities, convention consultants, and service providers within the meetings industry.



Hertz joins a GCB membership which includes the German Tourist Board (Deutsche Zentrale fur Tourismus, DZT), Lufthansa and Deutsche Bahn.



In addition to a nationwide car rental network, offering vehicles in all categories, including vans, transporters and trucks, Hertz also operates the only nationwide chauffeur service within Germany.
