A new partnership in the congresses trade fair sector between IMEX (The Worldwide Exhibition for Incentive Travel, Meetings and Events), the new international congress trade fair in Frankfurt and BTC Iternational (International Meetings Conventions and Incentives Fair) will provide an important front for the sector at an annual appointment in Florence.
The agreement aims to provide a constructive collaboration between the two venues which hope to source endless opportunities for new promotional events.
The agreement unites 2 of the 4 global events which take place every year to propose venues, structures and services to congress and incentive organisers.
The collaboration is expected to increase advantages both in the quality of information available and increase in the number of buyers and to benefit the profile of the two trade fairs overall. Initiatives aimed to give maximum visibility to both venues are already being studied. In addition BTC International are organising a fam-trip to Italia for foreign buyers present at the 2004 edition of IMEX. What should prove to be invaluable is the exchange of data-base on international operators between the two venues.
We are happy to have reached an agreement with IMEX – said Carlo Gattai, president of BTC International-, it will push us to work even harder to obtain a higher market share and to contribute constructively to the strengthening and development of the agreement.
The next two editions of the fairs will be 2-4 December for BTC International and 12-14 May for IMEX creating a important specula effect on two different parts of the trade fair year.
