New attraction in Rhodes

Visitors to Rhodes<.> will soon be able to view rare plants and trees which existed on the island in the times of the Knights of St John. Baron MarcRene de Montalambent has funded the creation of the garden, containing species which have not appeared in Rhodes for years, in memory of his son and will pass it on the municipality.

The site will be used for special occasions and municipal authorities are assisting the baron in every way they can.

Stella Karavokyrou, director of the Hellenic Tourism Organisation`s Rhodes branch, said that the garden and the land on which it is located will be made available for various events connected with conferences and incentive trips.
