The Netherlands Board of Tourism (NBT) will be hosting their fourth annual Holland Road Show on 22 – 24 March 2004 in Holland. The Holland Road Show is one of the NBT`s biggest networking events for the UK travel trade, introducing UK operators to Dutch tourism partners including hotel chains, tourist attractions and regional tourist boards.
The Holland Road Show combines educationals and workshops with plenty of informal networking activities. This year the Holland Road Show will kick off with a seminar for the Dutch trade on Monday 22 March. Guest speakers including John Harding, ABTA President and Sales Director of Travelscene, Rodger Whitefield, Product Director of Bridge Travel and Bill Maxwell, Director Wallace Arnold Holidays, will inform the Dutch trade of the latest trends and developments in the UK holiday market to Holland.
UK delegates will then travel to Holland for the workshop on Tuesday 23 March followed the next day by an educational visit to one of the exciting regions in Holland, meeting local trade partners and visiting attractions along the way.
The NBT launched the Holland Road Show four years ago to create a platform for the UK and Dutch travel trade to network and conduct business and to introduce new products to the UK trade partners. This year the NBT has teamed up with all major ferry companies DFDS, P&O Ferries and Stena Line, thereby covering all direct ferry routes between the UK and Holland.
