According to the August traffic statistics of Budapest Airport published last week, Wizz Air has become the low cost airline of choice in Hungary.



In August close to a hundred-thousand passengers chose to fly Wizz Air, over thirty-seven-thousand took the airline`s Budapest flights. This number of passengers ranks Wizz Air the number one low cost airline in Hungary and the third largest airline at Budapest International Airport.



Wizz Air the new European low fare airline in just over 3 months of operation has carried 250,000 passengers, becoming the largest low cost airline in CEE. To celebrate this remarkable result, Wizz Air offers 25,000 free seats, whole the passenger pays only the taxes. The offer is valid until midnight on Tuesday, 5th October for the travel period between 8th -31st October.



Wizz Air has introduced 7 new routes this winter, including new flights from Liverpool to Budapest, Katowice and Warsaw. The flights start on 7th December.
