Germania's New Destinations: from Domodedovo Airport to Leipzig and Baden-Baden

Germania Airline expands its network of unique routes from Moscow Domodedovo Airport, complementing the range of its proposals which already include such destination as Moscow (Domodedovo) – Bremen.


Germania Airline
prepared a Christmas gift for the passengers of Moscow Domodedovo Airport: the Airline offers regular flights to Leipzig and Baden-Baden. These destinations are unique for the Moscow aviation hub – until now direct flights from Russian airports to these regions have not been operated.

Flights Moscow-Leipzig-Moscow are operated twice a week: on Thursday and Sunday. Flights from Domodedovo to Baden-Baden and back are operated on Monday and Thursday. For these air routes the company uses modern Boeing 737 and Airbus A319.

Daniel Burkard, External and International Relations Director, Domodedovo Airport, said: “We are happy to open these routes together with our partner – Germania Airline. Flights to Baden-Baden and Leipzig perfectly complement the unique routes map of Moscow Domodedovo Airport and allow passengers to visit the regions of Germany so attractive to travelers.”

This German Airline offers Russian travelers to fly from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Germany at attractive rates, which is especially important on the eve of New Year holidays.

Unique schedules of Germania Airline offering flights on the most favorable terms expand opportunities for passengers who choose Moscow Domodedovo Airport,” said Oliver Pawel, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Germania Airline.

Historically the largest commercial center, Leipzig is still referred to as ‘The Fair City’ which makes it especially attractive for tourists. Christmas markets of the city are famous all over the world: fantastically decorated Christmas trees, festively decorated streets, stalls with gifts and souvenirs, great variety of national snacks and traditional desserts. Leipzig is ready to offer its guests an extensive cultural program: Bach’s homeland offers those who like tour vacations architectural monuments and other sights.

Resorts admirers are eagerly awaited by Baden-Baden, another German city where now you can fly to from Moscow Domodedovo Airport. Baden-Baden is recognized as a ‘summer capital’ of Europe where every guest becomes a spectator and a participant of an exciting parade of the ‘rich and famous’. Well-kept city parks and walkways invite to romantic walks, the grandeur of palaces, ancient buildings and luxury villas excite the imagination, Paris and Vienna may get jealous of brightness and variety of cultural events, and the best hotels of Baden-Baden are world-famous.

Launching flights to Baden-Baden and Leipzig from Moscow Domodedovo Airport increased the number of destination of the air hub to 239 and the number of unique routes – up to 85. The number of German cities with which Domodedovo Airport connects the Russian capital by means of regular flights has also increased: today direct flights from the airport are operated to Berlin, Munich, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Cologne, Bremen, Leipzig and Baden-Baden.
