Passenger traffic of VIP and business halls of Domodedovo Airport increased by almost 70%

During the three summer months of 2023, more than 8,700 passengers used the VIP lounge of the air harbor, which is 9% higher than in June-August 2022.

Moscow Domodedovo Airport summed up the work of VIP and business halls for the summer period of 2023. The total passenger traffic amounted to more than 80 thousand people, which is almost 70% more than last summer.

Traffic in the business halls operated by Domodedovo Airport increased by 82% from June to August 2023 compared to the same period in 2022 and amounted to about 72 thousand people. The number of passengers served during the reporting period on international airlines exceeded the value of the same period last year by 59%.

The popularity of high-comfort halls is growing, among other things, due to the demand for passenger service under loyalty programs. To date, Russian priority service programs On Pass (Millionair) Persona.aero, GreyWall, RusPriority and GoldenKey are operating in the business halls of the air harbor.

In total, there are seven business halls at Domodedovo Airport, which are located in the departure zones of domestic and international airlines. Here, travelers are provided with a space for work, a dressing room and a shower room, children’s play areas, visual information about the status of flights and notification of the need to board a flight, as well as a buffet with a varied menu including specialty snacks and dessert dishes. It is worth noting that the services of the DME business lounges are available to all passengers, regardless of the class of service chosen when buying a ticket.

In summer, a new modern business lounge “Horizon” was opened for passengers of international flights – a spacious and cozy priority service area of 668 m2.

Also at Moscow Domodedovo Airport, a VIP lounge operates around the clock, which is located on the ground floor of the common area of the passenger terminal. For VIP guests, assistance is available in passing the check-in procedure and baggage check-in. At the same time, passengers departing on domestic flights can undergo the pre-flight inspection procedure directly in the VIP lounge. You can also use the following services: delivery of passengers to the plane or airport terminal on individual transport accompanied by employees of the air harbor, baggage delivery to the VIP lounge, meeting a passenger with a sign “VIP” at the teletrap /autostrap on arrival, etc. In addition, a new service is available to VIP-lounge guests who depart from the new segment of the terminal – T2 – delivery to the customs control zone by electric car.
